Don't touch anything!!!!

So this weekend Brayden really needed some one-on-one time with mom. I looked to see if there were any movies that would be good to take him to. The only thing that was at the main theater was Coraline, which looked kind of dark. So I found at the Taylorsville theater they had the Tale of Despereax. I talked to a couple of people that said that it was really good, but some of the reviews said it was also a little dark. Well I decided I would take him anyways. So me and Brayden headed to Taylorsville. Oh my goodness. This theater was exactly like the Crown Theater in Price, Sorry everyone. It was yucky!!!! I was looking for a seat, but how do you pick between gross and grosser. Brayden was so scared and every noise we heard he would say, "what was that?" It was a sad little theater. I could only find 3 good things about the theater.
1. The bathrooms were clean.
2. They had Dr. Pepper (can never find this at the theater and Mr. Pibb is not the same)
3 They have a little bag of popcorn for $1.50. Yes $1.50. I asked for a small bag of popcorn and he said "do you want our small or our value popcorn." I said, "well what is the difference?" He said "our small is $5.25 and our value is $1.50," which was only a little bit smaller. Hook me up with the $1.50. Then you put your own salt and butter on it. So needless to say I am retaining a lot of water today and feel like crap.

About one hour into the movie Brayden said, "Mom lets go home." I told him that the movie was almost over and asked him if he wanted to finish the movie. He said, "No, lets just go home." So I am not sure when we will make it back to T-Ville for a movie. It is really hard to have to sanitize all of our clothes after the movie.

Now I remember why I hate this movie.

So this weekend I was trying to watch a movie for Brayden to watch. I was looking at our On Demand feature and HBO had The Land Before Time. So I thought, hey dinosaurs, Brayden will like this. Oh my gosh. Not a good show. I hate shows where the characters parent(s) die. The movie just kills me. I am surprised that Brayden did not see me crying. It was hard enough trying to explain to him where Little Foot's mother was. Another movie I hate is Bridge to Terebithia. Before I had kids I did not mind these kinds of movies very much, by now, I don't need to be depressed. And I am also the first to admit that I am turning into a baby just like my grandma Margaret.
